about me

I’m an American-British writer and an editor at Hodderscape (Hodder & Stoughton, Hachette UK), where I edit bestselling science fiction and fantasy. Previously, I edited non-fiction and literary fiction at Profile Books.

I was shortlisted for the 2023 Future Worlds Prize for Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Colour. I currently mentor writers in the context of both the Future Worlds Prize and the Mo Siewcharran Prize.

I was a featured speaker at the Black to the Future Festival (founded by Irenosen Okojie) and the International Black Speculative Writing Festival (founded by Kadija Sesay). Additionally, I have appeared at events and on panels for the British Fantasy Society.

I’m busy scribbling away at my debut novel, Wisteria Chumleigh, which is an enchanting combination of fantasy, cosy crime, and millennial disenchantment.

I’m represented by Stevie Finegan at Zeno Agency.
